The BTA/7MOT brake tester is the ultimate combination of precision and ease of use. Brake testing with the infrared remote is effortless, while the powerful PC communicates with the DVSA system. The brake tester can be used with 4×4 vehicles and is DVSA-approved for two-person MOT testing of Classes 3, 4, 5L & 7, covering cars and light commercial vehicles. Safety is paramount with a proximity switch that prevents roller operation unless a vehicle is present, and protective roller covers for when the unit is not in use. The flush-fitting, galvanized roller bed integrates seamlessly into your workshop. Its innovative system measures the brake forces for each wheel, as well as the difference between the left and right sides of an axle. This allows the operator to assess key metrics such as rolling resistance, actuation force, ovality (out-of-roundness), and brake fading for each wheel.
